When publishing my debut novel, The Chaos Circus, I could have saved myself a LOT of stress if I had gone into the process with a checklist of things to look for, particularly when ordering proofs. I staggered the things I was searching for and ended up spending more time and money than I really needed to on reordering proofs – and still running into issues at the end!

 

For subsequent novels, I have made a review checklist that I want to make available for my Dreamers as well! Hopefully it will help you maximize your time and energy and consolidate your efforts when reviewing your proofs!
